Mr. Daniel “DJ” DeCausey III of Bridgeport, CT age 38, passed away on Friday March 22nd at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving partner of Karissa Bradley.

DJ was born on March 21st, 1986, in Stamford, CT. He is the son of Mary G. McClain and Daniel DeCausey Jr., both of Stamford. He was a 2004 graduate of Stamford High School and in 2009 earned his technical degree from Porter and Chester for High Voltage Electricity. He worked at ASML in Wilton, CT as an optical fabricator for many years.

In addition to Karissa, his partner of 13 years, he is survived by his children, Everly and Emerson DeCausey and Curtis and Hunter Bradley, all of Bridgeport. His Mother Mary G. McClain, Father Daniel DeCausey Jr. and Grandmother Mary L. McClain, all of Stamford and siblings Kevin McClain of North Carolina and Ciara and Jaiden DeCausey of Stamford. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins who all loved and cherished him dearly. He is pre-deceased by his maternal grandfather Johnny McClain, paternal grandfather Daniel DeCausey Sr. and paternal grandmother Mary DeCausey.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 at 11a.m at Lester Gee Funeral Home, 1390 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. Family and friends may view at the funeral home at 10a.m until time of service. Interment will be private.
