Obituary
Rodney “Rod” Michael Paul of Brighton, more formerly of Dearborn passed away peacefully, while surrounded by his family on March 21, 2024. He was 67 years old.
He was a cherished member of the community, having grown up and lived in Dearborn for 40 years before moving to Brighton in 2001. Rodney's entrepreneurial spirit led him to start his own carpet cleaning business in 2002, where he undoubtedly left a lasting impact on his clients.
Rodney's dedication extended beyond his professional life as he generously gave his time to coaching hockey teams and mentoring children at the Naz Skatepark for 8 years. His passion for music, particularly rock & roll, brought joy to those around him. It is heartwarming to know that he still had a ticket to see Sammy Hagar in August, a testament to his unwavering enthusiasm for life.
Rodney will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, Papa, brother, and nephew. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort and solace during this difficult time.
Son of the late John and Bette Paul, Rod is survived by his wife of years, Pamela Paul; children, Jonathan and Tiana Paul; grandchildren, Nora Lyn, Sawyer Michael and Harper Bette; siblings, Susan & John Burrell; aunts and uncles, Vivian & James Lawler, Dorothy & Robert Cronnin; also many extended family and dear friends.
Rod is also preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Paul.
