Sharon Ann Hobson, age 73 of Painted Post, New York passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Robert Packer Hospital. She was born on January 30, 1951 in Corning, New York to Bruce and Eleanor Clark.

In her free time, Sharon will be remembered for her ability to make wonderful cakes. She enjoyed baking cakes; this was a hobby that will never be forgotten. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her cousin Donna mostly in the summertime traveling to watch Donna’s son Jay play at local establishments. Sharon was always offering to help in any type of situation to help raise money for friends or family, cook for benefits or just be there for support. She was an artist and had drawn wonderful pictures.

Sharon spent a lot of her life across the states. She was a bit of a gypsy you might say, But in the end she landed back in the same area she started in Corning, NY. Sharon battled breast cancer several years ago but unfortunately the cancer came back and took over.

Sharon is survived by daughter: Tammy Hivley of Elmira, grandson: Jacob Miller of Elmira; sister: Deborah (Rick) Ferguson of Grand Junction, CO, along with several nieces and nephews: Heath, Herby, and Brad Clark, Christina Levey, Brian Willett, and several great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was predeceased by brothers Tom and Robert Clark.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Carpenter's Funeral Home, Corning, NY has been entrusted with the arrangements.
