<p>Richard W. “Dick” Koser, 65, of Newville, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024 at his home.</p><p><br></p><p>Born Friday, August 15, 1958 in Chambersburg. He was a son of the late Leroy and Crea Lillian Hammond Koser.</p><p><br></p><p>He worked as a plumber most of his life, and also worked maintenance at Martin’s Potato Rolls, Chambersburg. </p><p><br></p><p>Richard was a life member of the Minnequa Social Club, The Hub City Club, both in Shippensburg, and the Big Spring Fish and Game Club, Newville.</p><p><br></p><p>He enjoyed woodworking, and tinkering around with his tractors. Richard was a happy go lucky guy, and would do anything for anybody.</p><p><br></p><p>Richard is survived by his wife of 10 years, Cristine Mae Newell Koser, Newville; two daughters, Angela M. Hoch, Newburg, and Chrystal A. Koser, Newville; four grandchildren, Makayla, Brittney, Evan, and Savana; two great-grandchildren, Addilyn, and Geneva; eight brothers and sisters, Linda Miller, Ron Koser, Fredie Koser, Tom Koser, Sue Nenninger, Peg Shumberger, Kathy Weagley, and Jim Koser; and numerous nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Diane E. Born Friday, August 15, 1958 in Chambersburg. He was a son of the late Leroy and Crea Lillian Hammond Koser.
