<p>NORTH BROOKFIELD- Heather Downie,46, of North Brookfield, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 22,2024. </p><p><br></p><p>She leaves her father Robert Downie, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Dana and mother Diane.</p><p><br></p><p>Heather had a very personal and quiet faith that was also a very resilient faith. Losing her mother and brother shortly before her own cancer diagnosis might be more than most could withstand. Yet Heather persevered. She loved her Dad who at the time of her passing, was beside her singing the song, “First day in Heaven”. </p><p><br></p><p>A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20,2024 at 11:00AM in the First Congregational Church of North Brookfield 144 North Main St. North Brookfield. Burial will follow in South Cemetery in Oakham.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements are under the care of Pillsbury Funeral Home 44 Gilbert St. North Brookfield.</p>Obituary
