Melanie Lynn Marie Webb

Melanie Lynn Marie Webb passed away peacefully at home the night of March 21 after a long battle with cancer.

She completed her Bachelor of Education at the University of Ottawa and specialized in teaching high school music where she imparted a love of music in all her students. She had an innate ability to bring joy and laughter to everyone around her. She continued to play flute and piccolo in the Northumberland New Ventures Band.

She married in 2012 and is survived by her husband, Bradley, her parents, Bruce and Linda, her brother, Rob (Rachel), her nephews, Oscar and Oliver, her Grandma Sylvia, her Papa Wayne and Granny Barb, and her two cats, Zoey and Prof. Asparagus, PhD.

A funeral mass was held. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Ashburnham Funeral Home - 840 Armour Road, Peterborough. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2:30 PM with visiting commencing at 2:00 PM. A reception will follow the service in the Legacy Room of the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Melanie would like you to donate to your local animal shelter.
