“I AM THE STORM” and “I’VE GOT THIS” were the valiant battle cries we frequently heard in her fight against this horrible cancer. She was courageous and brave, but she ultimately lost her last great battle and passed away on March 18, 2024 at home with her family.

Amanda Eccles Swann was born on September 14, 1979 in Ogden, Utah, youngest daughter of David and Carol Eccles. She attended schools in San Ramon, California, and met the love of her life, best friend, and soulmate there. She married Jason Everett Swann on June 20, 1998 in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Mandy and Jason have three children: Olivia, who is 18, Bentley, who is 14, and Fallon, who is 11. Nothing meant more to Amanda than her family.

Mandy was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served as a worker in the Primary and Young Women’s Programs. She has felt the arms of her Heavenly Father and Savior encircling her throughout this ordeal as she prayed for comfort and peace.
