Michael A. Potter, 63, of Groveland passed away peacefully, Thursday March 21, 2024 at his residence.

He was born in Chelsea, MA on August 26, 1960, son of the late Herbert I. and Aldine (Robichaud) Potter.

Michael was a graduate of Don Bosco High School - Boston with the Class of 1978. He also attended Boston State college.

For over 40 years, Michael was employed at Kone Elevators & Escalators.

Michael is survived by his wife of 37 years Ana M. (Serantes) Potter; their 3 sons Douglas Scott Potter of Groveland, Benjamin James Potter and his fiancée Jacqueline of Windham, NH and Joshua Robert Potter and his fiancée Margaret of Milford, MA; his sister Suzanne M. and her husband Kenneth Countie of Tewksbury; his brother Stephen A. Potter and his wife Julia of Bradford; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He loved and adored his wife, Ana, whom he met when they were 21 yrs old at Filene’s Basement in Boston.  He did everything for Ana and their 3 boys; Doug, Ben and Josh including boating on Lake Winnipesaukee, camping, skiing, golfing, white water rafting, kayaking and going to every hockey and football game possible in every city.  Mike LOVED to travel.  He enjoyed planning his many adventures as much as loved taking them with his family and close friends. You could always find Michael wearing a fun T-shirt from one of his destinations. He hosted the best parties at their home for any and every occasion, especially Christmas Eve, which was only missed 1 time in 37 years.  CHEERS to Michael - he taught us all how to live life to the fullest.
