<p>Lindy Lee (Black) Galiano, 78 of Colliers, WV, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at her residence under the care of family with the assistance of Valley Hospice.</p><p><br></p><p>Lindy was born on August 6, 1945 in Wellsburg, WV. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Black Sr. and Anne (Jones) Black.</p><p><br></p><p>Lindy worked for many years as a laborer at Follansbee Steel. Many will remember Lindy for her enjoyment of gardening and the outdoors; but most of all, for her love and devotion of her family. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, Lindy was preceded in death by her husband, Santy Galiano, a son, Santy Lee Galiano, a daughter, Christina Barker, and four siblings, Clarence “Pete” Black Sr., Roxanne “Roxie” Rairigh, Jesse Allen Black Jr. and Margaret Grace Black.</p><p><br></p><p>Lindy is survived by her three sons, Bill Galiano and his wife, Sherry of Wellsburg, WV, Eric Galiano and his wife, Wilsie of Colliers, WV and Mark Galiano and his wife, Michelle of Colliers, WV, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren, a brother, Joe Black of Wellsburg, WV and several nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends will be received on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 4:00 PM until time of the Funeral Service at 6:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717, with Pastor Tim Colvin, officiating. </p><p><br></p><p>Interment will be held privately at St. John Cemetery Haven of Rest, Colliers, WV.</p><p><br></p><p>Please add or view condolences, photos and stories at www.chambersandjames.com</p>
