<p>Ronald Harry Stewart, 97, of Mountainburg, Arkansas passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 in a local nursing home. He was a US Navy WWII Veteran, an ironworker and member of Mountainburg Presbyterian Church. Ronald was born December 1, 1926 in Grand Forks, ND to the late Harry and Esther (Peterson) Stewart. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Muriel Stewart; a grandchild, Melanie Crim and a sister Mary Lou Storlien. He was a dedicated family man.</p><p><br></p><p>Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. </p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by daughters, Sandra Barlow and husband Greg of Cedar City, UT and Julie Everidge and husband John of Keller, TX; son, Andy Stewart of Mountainburg, AR; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. </p><p><br></p><p>To place an online tribute please visit www.ockerfuneralhome.com</p><p><br></p>

Obituary

Ronald Harry Stewart, 97, of Mountainburg, Arkansas passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 in a local nursing home. He was a US Navy WWII Veteran, an ironworker and member of Mountainburg Presbyterian Church. Ronald was born December 1, 1926 in Grand Forks, ND to the late Harry and Esther (Peterson) Stewart. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Muriel Stewart; a grandchild, Melanie Crim and a sister Mary Lou Storlien. He was a dedicated family man.


Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
