William (Bill) Praught passed peacefully on March 20, 2024 at the age of 96, with family by his side

at the St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre in Guelph ON.

Bill will be dearly missed by his family. His daughters; Jeanette (Dan), Debora (Don), Heather (Brian)

and predeceased Katherine. His son; James. The mother of Bill's children; Shirley Praught and his 

6 grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Bill was from Grand River, PEI and is now reunited with his parents Sanctinus and Minnie Praught

and 9 siblings.  Bill is survived by his last remaining sibling; his sister Gertrude (Tony).

Bill was an active member of the Halton Sportsman Club and within the Milton community.

He loved to play baseball, golf and country music on his guitar.

Cremation has taken place and the Interment is to be held in the Spring at his final resting place

in the Milton Evergreen Cemetery.

In Bill’s memory donations can be made to The Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB).
