Margaret Ann (Farley) Veal passed away March 21, 2024. She was born April 24, 1949 at Abilene Memorial Hospital to Jack and Helen (Daniels) Farley. She attended the Abilene Schools and graduated from Abilene High School in 1967. She was hired by Irwin Army Hospital in April of 1977 to establish an American College of Surgeons approved cancer Program. She worked as Tumor Registrar at Irwin Army Hospital and retired in 2008. Margaret is survived by her two sons: Mitch Veal and wife Julie of Abilene and Kit Veal and wife Ranae of Abilene. Six grandchildren: Alexandra and fiancé Devon, Zachary, Shyann, Clayton, Jonathan and Cole. Three great-grandchildren, one brother, Doug Farley and wife Kristy and two sisters, Debbie Howie and husband Jim and Patty Orender. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-n-law Bill Orender. The family has chosen cremation. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
