<p>Vicki Shadwell </p><p> </p><p>CHARLESTON – Vicki Louise Shadwell, 71, of Charleston, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at Willow Breeze Hospice House. </p><p> </p><p>Vicki was born January 10, 1953, one of thirteen children born to Frank and Virginia (Mize) Helige. She married Steve Shadwell; he survives. Also surviving are her children, Patrick Branch, Billy Newton, Crystal Newton, and Nathan Edwards; grandchild, Anthony Branch; siblings, Sharon Funk, Frank (Deb) Helige, Melisa (Mike) Henry, Jim Helige, and Judy (LeeRoy) Elder; and dear friends, Linda and Terry Cole. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings. </p><p> </p><p>To honor Vicki’s wishes, she will be cremated and no service will be scheduled. </p><p> </p><p>Memorials may be made to: Willow Breeze Hospice House of Sarah Bush Lincoln or the Coles County Animal Shelter. </p><p> </p>Obituary
