<p>Kay I. Baumgartner, 86, of New Castle passed away the morning of March 21, 2024 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in New Castle on April 13, 1937 Kay was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Dora Sargeant Keith.</p><p><br></p><p>Kay attended New Life Baptist Church.</p><p><br></p><p>She was an avid fan of Wrestling and enjoyed watching it on television. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Kay’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and her dear friend, Edna.</p><p><br></p><p>Kay is survived by her children, Louis Baumgartner, Jodi Hendershot (Tony), Mary Baumgartner and Janene Melczak, her sister, Judith Anderson, nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her daughter Kathy Dora, three brothers, Kenny, Bill and Bobby Keith, and three sisters, June Hasson, Gloria Adams and Diane Keith.</p><p><br></p><p>A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed &amp; Don DeCarbo Funeral Home &amp; Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

Kay I. Baumgartner, 86, of New Castle passed away the morning of March 21, 2024 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.


Born in New Castle on April 13, 1937 Kay was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Dora Sargeant Keith.


Kay attended New Life Baptist Church.


She was an avid fan of Wrestling and enjoyed watching it on television. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Kay’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and her dear friend, Edna.


Kay is survived by her children, Louis Baumgartner, Jodi Hendershot (Tony), Mary Baumgartner and Janene Melczak, her sister, Judith Anderson, nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.


In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her daughter Kathy Dora, three brothers, Kenny, Bill and Bobby Keith, and three sisters, June Hasson, Gloria Adams and Diane Keith.
