<p>Lewiston – Brenda “Beannie” Stewart, 82, of Jay, passed away Thursday, March 21st at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, following a series of health issues. She was born January 14, 1942, in Farmington, the daughter of Thane and Doris (Jackman) Bubier. In 1959 she married Everett Stewart of Livermore Falls and they made their home in East Livermore. They enjoyed 52 years of marriage before his passing on December 27, 2011. Through the years Brenda worked at the local shoe shops and later at Rosy’s, Big Apple and Wits End all in Livermore Falls. Brenda was an avid golfer and received the nickname “Bubbles” down at Maple Lane Golf Course in Livermore. She enjoyed doing ceramics, visiting with her friends and time spent with her family. </p><p>She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Berube of Walhalla, SC., and her son, Donald Stewart and wife Kim of Georgetown, SC., 9 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, her sisters, Jane Johnson and Betty Barnaby, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, 13 siblings, two daughters, Linda Nemethy and Debora Hiscock and grandchildren, Danielle “Dee” Stewart and Joshua Hiscock. The family would like to thank special friends Kim and Dick Moreau for the care and hospitality they gave to Brenda when she returned to Maine. Interment at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Haines Corner Road, Livermore Falls, Maine will be announced at a later date.</p>
