Jeffrey B. Farmer, 61, of Centerville, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 15, 2024 in Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, Fairfax, Virginia. He was born on October 24, 1962 in McKeesport Hospital and is the son of Constance L. (Bachrik) Farmer of North Huntingdon and the late Clyde Bernard Farmer. Jeff was a 1981 graduate of Norwin Senior High School and a 1986 graduate of Clarion University with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. Prior to retirement, he was employed for 32 years by Freddie Mac in McLean, Virginia as a Project Manager in Single Family Services. In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by a sister, Beth Forrai of Latrobe; a brother, Cary Farmer of West Deer Township; niece, Paige Forrai; nephews, Kyle and Cody Farmer; and his dearest friend of forty years, who was like family to him, Johanna Pionke of Chantilly, VA. Jeff was a kind hearted person who loved camping, spending time with friends at the beach, and working crossword and Soduku puzzles. He loved animals and helping people. He especially enjoyed talking about his niece and nephews to friends and co-workers any chance he could. A Memorial Service to celebrate Jeff’s life will be planned at a later time.
