Edward A Byrnes, 80, of Huffman, Texas passed away March 20, 2024. Edward was born July 16, 1943 in Norristown, Pa. to the late Joseph and Olga (Niess) Byrnes. Ed resided in Pennsylvania until 1977 when he moved to Texas.

Ed graduated from Bishop Kenrick High School in 1961. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1961 to 1965. Ed worked for Westinghouse Electric Corp. for many years until bought out by Siemens Corp. where he retired in 2001.

Ed was always busy doing home projects or working in the yard. He enjoyed his time in Galveston with family and friends at the beach house.

Ed is survived by his wife of 57 years Linda Byrnes, daughter Shawn Byrnes of Atascocita, TX and grandson Blake Parker of Crosby, TX.

He is also survived by sisters Patricia Manzo of Walnutport, PA, Marie Anderson of Telford, Pa, and Susan Tomczuk of East Norriton, Pa. and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Marjorie Mincarelli, Bridget Falcone, Lynne Byrnes and Dolares Lare.
