Kathryn Danch Vilkinofsky, 91, of Erie, passed away Tuesday March 19, 2024. She was born in Sykesville, PA on November 4, 1932, a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Sufillko Danch.

Kathryn was a hairdresser for many years and a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church where she made nut rolls in the kitchen for over 25 years. She was an avid bingo player and casino enthusiast. Most of all, she loved spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Vilkinofsky Sylvis; five sisters, Helen Zbailey, Mary Podracky Latanich, Ann Uzdale, Julia "Judy" Barlock, and Elizabeth "Betty" Dolak; and five brothers, Charles "Chuck", Michael "Mike", Stephen "Steve", George, and John "Whistle" Danch.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Vilkinofsky Rinn of Erie; five grandchildren, David, Daniel, and Molly Rinn and Raymond III and Lindsey Sylvis; three great grandchildren, Mason and Connor Rinn and Maddison Rae Sylvis; her son in law, Raymond Sylvis, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.
