<p>David Allen Renner, 74, of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 3:24 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Charleston Rehab &amp; Healthcare in Charleston, Illinois.</p><p><br></p><p>He was born August 22, 1949, in Dover, Ohio, the son of the late Ramon and June (Silvis) Renner.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include a son, Steven Renner of Paris, and two sisters, Ann (Gary) Murvin of Fort Hood, Texas, and Ramona (Calvin) Colvin of Eastlake, Ohio, in addition to several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Ken Renner.</p><p><br></p><p>Mr. Renner was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Community Bible Church of Paris and a Life Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3601.</p><p><br></p><p>For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospice, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Community Bible Church.</p><p><br></p><p>SERVICE INFORMATION</p><p><br></p><p>Graveside services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Danville National Cemetery. Pastor David Laborde officiated and burial followed. Military honors were conducted by American Legion Post #210. Obituary

David Allen Renner, 74, of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 3:24 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Charleston Rehab & Healthcare in Charleston, Illinois.


He was born August 22, 1949, in Dover, Ohio, the son of the late Ramon and June (Silvis) Renner.
