<p>LOCUST HILL COMMUNITY – Doyle Samuel Robinson, 69, departed this life peacefully from his residence in Pontotoc County on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 1:27 PM after a long battle with Congestive Heart Failure. Born in Tupelo on Dec. 30, 1954, to the late Erchel Lee Robinson and Emma Harriett Hood, Doyle lived most of his life in this area where he was a master electrician working for several companies including TVA. He married Jacklin Shelton in Red Bay, Alabama on March 8, 1998 and she survives. He enjoyed the outdoors and being with his family.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will hold a service at 2 PM Saturday, March 23, 2024 in the Sadie M. Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors in Tupelo. Visitation will be from 1 PM to service time. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed at hollandfuneraldirectors.com/live-streaming and archived afterward. Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo is honored to be serving their friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Doyle is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jacklin; his daughter, Betty Faye “Betsy” Roberts (Anthony) of Pontotoc; his children by choice from his wife, Jacklin-Cynthia White (Mike) of Auburn, Alvin Rausch II (Savannah) of Auburn, and Lucas J. “Luke” Rausch of Plantersville; his brothers Bobby Baggett (Carol) of Guntown, and Joel Robinson (Martha) of Saltillo, and sister, Johnnie Faye McFarland (Pat) of Dyersburg, TN; 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews and other family members.
