<p>Was born January 9, 1985, to William Longstreet and Sandra Johnson. As a child she began her spiritual journey at Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church under the presiding Pastor John W. Williams. </p><p><br></p><p>She was fun loving who was excited about learning, exploring and experiencing new things. she could be found capturing moments of time with her uncles and aunt soaking up wisdom that would guide her through her teenage and adult life, she entertainment had a great sense of humor found of comedy shows, plays and other forms of entertainment.</p><p><br></p><p>Latoya excelled academically throughout her educational career, graduating at the top of her class at Jesup W. Scott High School in June 2003. She was an active member of the National Honor Society, President of the Student Body Government , member of the African America Club where she was crowned Afro Ball Queen in her senior year. She also received numerous trophies in athletics; track, soft ball, cross country, basketball. </p><p><br></p><p>After graduating she began her journey with Owens College for her two -year degree, from there she chose to explore other career options, serving her country appeared to be a more fruitful option; leading her to join US Navy, where she served 2 years, as a Marine Medic serving aboard the US Comfort to aid to Hurricane Katrina Disaster from there she transitioned to the Coast Guard where she served as a Human Resource Administrator and retired after 18 years of service. </p><p><br></p><p>Her military career afforded opportunities for traveling while completing her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resources, as well as opened the door to meeting the love of her life Harry Williams III. Their 17 years of love and life begin 2006 and lead to their union in 2010, from that union the blessing of three children; Kelsi, Harry and Torri were given.</p><p><br></p><p>Latoya is preceded in death by her grandparents Roy and Shirley Rush, father in law Harry Williams II, sister in law Loretta Wright. </p><p><br></p><p>She leaves to cherish her memory: Husband Harry Williams III, daughters Kelsi Ann, Torri and her son Harry IIII. Mother Sandra (Ben) Johnson, father William T. Longstreet, her sisters Isha (Julius) Darrington of Sherman Oaks, CA, Stacy Longstreet of Fleming Island, FL , Karen Hayes (Quintin) of Toledo. </p><p> She also leaves her mother in law; Joyce Saunders, sisters in laws Shantell Williams of Savannah, GA, brother in laws Andre (Yolanda) Welch Baltimore, MD, Quincy (Ashiki) Welch III of Augusta, GA, Leroy (Virginia) Hawkins of Savannah, GA. Additionally, she leaves a host of aunts, uncles, family, friends.</p>
