Mary B. Collins

Mary B. Collins, 80, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Albany Medical Center.

Born on May 28, 1943, in Plattsburgh, NY. She was the daughter of the late Elton and Mary (White) Blanchard.

On July 3, 1963, Mary married the love of her life Andrew B. Collins in Willsboro, NY. They spent a wonderful

48 years of marriage together until Andrew’s passing in 2011.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite job was being Grandma. She loved

attending bluegrass festivals, and playing her guitar along with her band.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary is predeceased by her siblings, Elton “Sonny” Blanchard and

Nancy Morris.

Left to cherish her memory include her children, Joseph Collins, William (Darcey) Collins, Jason Collins

(Tracy), Joanne (Robert) Linehan, her grandchildren, Liam, Megan, Melanie (Tyler), Lauren, and Kathryn; her

great grandchild, Tyler; her sister, Betty Sweatt; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The Rite of Committal will be 11:30am on Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY.
