Ronald Kyle “Ronnie” Baker, age 70, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on March 21, 2024. He was born in Dubois County, Indiana on May 29, 1953 son of the late Raymond A Baker and the late Lois Jean Welden Baker. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad.

He is survived by his children: Kevin Baker (Jill), Kim Cole (Brad), Kayla Carter (Matthew); grandchildren: Noelle Smith, Riley Baker, Carly Cole, Caden Cole, Ryan Carter, Emma Cliett, Sadie Frances Carter, sister: Debbie Bishop.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Frances Gail Baker; brother: Alan Baker.

The family will receive friends at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Dr. Hunter Roe officiating. Jay Davis, Russ Davis, Cody Davis, Troy Brown, Mike Parker will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Brown and Ben Davis.

Interment will follow at Melrose Cemetery.
