George Prejean Obituary

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. in Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point for George Allen Prejean 67, of Church Point who passed away on Wednesday March 20, 2024 at 12:33 P.M. at his home.


Deacon Winn will be officiating for the services.


The family has requested the visitation to be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point.

 

He is survived by his companion of 28 years Theresa Ann LeJeune of Church Point; one son, Christopher Prejean of Missouri; one daughter in law, Jessie Prejean of Church Point; two sisters; Ruby Matte of Rayne and Margie Halsall of Texas, grandchildren; Chole, Olivia, Abigale and Tre Prejean.


George is preceded in death by one son, Brannon Prejean and his parents Esteve and Ella Mae Prejean, brothers; Steve and Carroll Prejean and one sister Macline Richard.


At the time of his death he was the drummer and vocalist of the Cajun Band, George Prejean and Cajun Redemption.
