Patricia "Pat" Beever, age 75 of Golconda, Illinois passed away on March 20, 2024 at home.

Pat was born was born December 28, 1948 in Metropolis, IL to the late Bob and Mona (Rendleman) Eddleman. She earned a bachelor’s degree in science from Murray State University. She started the first three years of her teaching career in Perryville, MO. Pat then went to work at Pope County Community School until she retired in 2007. She married Elmo “Butch” Beever in Perryville on July 20, 1974; he predeceased her on April 24, 2015. Pat was a seamstress and enjoyed making clothes. She enjoyed listening to old rock n roll and shopping.

Pat is survived by her son, Eric Beever; granddaughters, Harley Hull, Hadley Beever; sisters, Kelly (Cedrick) Blair, Kim (Ivan) Gaston; brother, Kevan Eddleman; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband Pat was preceded in death by her daughter, Penny Beever and sister, Shawn Vaughn.

Funeral service will be at noon on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Aly funeral Home in Eddyville, IL. The service will be conducted by Bro. Kevin Richerson. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Dongola, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: American Cancer Society or the family to help with final expenses.
