Obituary
Jedidiah “Jed” Finn, 32, of Lawrence, Kansas, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024.
Celebration of Life will be held 4:00-8:00pm, Saturday, March 23, 2024, at FOE 2700 Eagles Lodge.
Inurnment is planned at Princeton Cemetery at 5:30 pm, Tuesday, March 26, 2024. The Froggatte family will be gathering at the Princeton Community Building following the services. All are welcome.
Jed was born Wednesday, August 21, 1991, in Lawrence, Kansas, the son of Heather M. Hathcoat and Jared Froggatte.
He was lived in Lawrence, Kansas since 2020, moving there from Oklahoma.
Jed graduated from Osawatomie High School with the class of 2010.
He was employed with Schurle Sign Company in Lawrence, Kansas for the past two years, and worked in guest services for Sperry Chalet at Mt. Glacier National Park, Montana.
Jed studied martial arts and was a certified personal fitness trainer His adventurous spirit, love of the outdoors, along with his quest for knowledge; provided endless opportunities for him and Bear to create a life in which he found purpose and meaning. All of us will undoubtedly miss his gifts, infectious smile and his innate ability to provide a knowing of safety and love to animals and his “people.”
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Steve Froggatte.
Survivors include mother Heather Hathcoat (Christopher) of Lawrence, Kansas; grandmother Sherry Froggatte of Princeton, Kansas; son Nate Froggatte of Iola, Kansas; father Jared Froggatte (Wendy) of Iola, Kansas; grandfather Chet Leach of Rantoul, Kansas; three sisters Nina Houk (Dalton) of Moran, Kansas, Kirsten Brightwell (Tom) of Pomona, Kansas, and Hannah Froggatte (Will Hughes) of Plainville, Kansas; brother Joseph Froggatte of Iola, Kansas; along with many nieces and nephews.
