<p>WUENSCH, Marc C., age 72, of North Haledon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Born in Leonia, Marc had been a resident of North Haledon for 42 years where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories alongside his beloved wife Patricia and daughters, Jennifer and Allyson.</p><p>Marc was a man of remarkable intellect and dedication. He earned his master’s degree in accounting and pursued a successful career as a Certified Public Accountant. During his career, he was a partner at both Liebgold, Wuensch, and Associates, as well as Cullari, Carrico, LLC in Fairfield. </p><p><br></p><p>A lover of the outdoors, Marc found joy and solace in various activities. He was an avid tennis player throughout his life, finding both challenge and camaraderie on the court, including the many friendships he made at the Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes during his 30 years as a member. Golf and fishing were also among his favorite pastimes, but perhaps his greatest joy was found on the beaches of Belmar, NJ, where he savored the serenity of the ocean.</p><p><br></p><p>Marc's commitment to his community was exemplary. He was actively involved within his parish of Most Blessed Sacrament in Franklin Lakes and in town affairs, having previously served as a North Haledon councilman. Marc's compassion extended beyond his local community; he dedicated his time and expertise to children's charities, notably serving as the treasurer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in NJ.</p><p><br></p><p>Marc leaves behind his beloved wife Patricia (Uhlig) Wuensch of North Haledon. Together they shared 44 years of loving and loyal marriage. Loving father to Jennifer Wuensch of Pompton Plains, and Allyson Wuensch of Stamford, Connecticut. He also leaves behind his brother Jack Wuensch and his wife Cindy, and his sister Karen Ring and her husband Thomas. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>Visitation for the Wuensch family will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 1-3 PM and 5-7 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ.
