Obituary

Barbara Ann (Duncan)Teehee the daughter of Louella Duncan was born November 14, 1965, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on March 19, 2024, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years, 4 months and 5 days.

First off, everyone called her “Marlene”. Marlene loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. This included family game nights, going fishing at the creek, going to yard sales and everyday trips to Walmart with her sidekick S-gv-yi. She absolutely enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren. Her other hobbies were watching cooking shows, crocheting, word search puzzles, hunting wild onion, and crawdad hunting with her children. She loved watching Judge Judy, daytime drama, and football. Her favorite team was Kansas City Chiefs. She also loved the Arkansas Razorbacks. WOOO Pig Sooie!!! Razorbacks!!!

She really loved surprise visits from friends and family, and during these visits she always made sure no one left on an empty stomach. She enjoyed cooking and sharing meals with those who visited. The house was always full of laughter and joking around (she was the Queen of cut-downs; no one could ever roast her). Among other things you would feel while being in her presence was LOVE.

She was the most beautiful, kind-hearted, and completely selfless soul that you could ever meet; a true reflection of God’s endearing love. She was a faithful member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing with the WMU, and time spent with her church family. She was also grateful to be included in the Salem Baptist Church WMU prayer chain. She loved reading her bible, sending encouragement and prayers to those who were in need whether it be in person, thru texts, or phone calls.

She was a loving wife to Albert for 40 years. They enjoyed fishing together, going to flea markets, four-wheeler riding, and cruising to Nicut store to get the best bologna or go to Sonic for brown bag special back in the day. They would prepare meals together indoor and outdoor on the old wood cookstove. Another tradition they shared was taking their children to the Annual Apple Festival in Lincoln, Arkansas; where they would later enjoy ice cream at the Dairy cup after the festivities. They also enjoyed watching the livestream of Snowda’s basketball games together at home.

Above all things, praying together was an everyday tradition. Solidifying their marriage in God enabled them to be true beacons of faith, love, patience, and forgiveness. Showing all of us that no matter what trials life brings or how far we think we have strayed from God, His everlasting love is waiting for us; just like she will be.

She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother Louella Duncan; her son Albert Wayne Teehee; her brother Andy Duncan; her sister Georgia Ann Thurber; and her sister Vanessa Duncan-Sawney.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband Albert Teehee of the home; her children Geronimo Teehee and companion Brittnee of Stilwell, Ashley Teehee-Mann and husband Marcus of Stilwell, Tiffany Teehee, Isaiah Teehee, and Jereasa Teehee all of Stilwell; her siblings Randy Duncan and wife Mary Ann, Brenda Duncan, and “Baby Brother” Jackie Duncan; Mandy and husband Sundown Watie all of Stilwell; her aunt Winnie Chuculate; her aunt “whom she loved as a sister”, Betty Lou Galcatcher and husband Joe of Stilwell; her grandchildren Shaden, Gavin, Avah, Skeeter, Murphy, Greyson, Ariel, and Mathias. A special niece Channa Golden and her dearest friends; Amie Teehee, Joyce Hawk, Lucinda Duncan, Patricia Flood, Marie Soap, and Dennis Mink. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
