<p>Denise Michele Mattingly, 58 of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 6:19 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. She was a manager for Old National Bank.</p><p><br></p><p>Born June 30, 1965 in Paris, she was the daughter of John and Linda (Hutson) Beauchamp. She married Douglas Mattingly October 9, 1982 at the State Line Christian Church and he survives.</p><p><br></p><p>Other survivors include her mother, Linda Beauchamp of Paris; two children, Alexis (James) Simpson and Douglas (Kisandra) Mattingly II, both of Paris; a brother John Beauchamp, Jr. of Shirkieville, Indiana; two sisters Kristal (Troy) Hutchison of New Goshen, Indiana and Robin (Shane) Baugh of Paris; five grandchildren, Sage, Gentry, and Grace Simpson, Bentley Basham, and Reese Mattingly, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.</p><p><br></p><p>Denise was a kind, caring, and generous person who will be remembered for her big heart. She was an exceptional cook and baker and loved cooking for, and being around her family and friends. Denise enjoyed going riding and loving on her dogs. She was loved by everyone who knew her, and will be greatly missed.</p><p><br></p><p>For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Paul Warner Animal Rescue.</p><p><br></p><p>SERVICE INFORMATION</p><p><br></p><p>Services celebrating her life were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Templeton Funeral Home. Pastor Troy Warner officiated, and burial followed in Little Grove Cemetery. Casket bearers were Briggs Beauchamp, Yancee Haddix, Douglas Mattingly, and Gentry, James, and Sage Simpson. Honorary casket bearers were David Aitken, John Beauchamp, and Jeff Haddix.
