Lathan Wayne (Little Moon) Lucero was born on June 5, 2001 in Pine Ridge, SD to Wiconi Olowan Little Moon and Thomas Lucero. Lathan made his journey to the Spirit World on March 19, 2024 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Lathan is survived by his twin boys, Layton Wayne Lucero and Leon’dre Anthony Lucero; sisters, Kisa (Garrett) Little Moon, Amelia Little Moon, Lyrika Little Moon, Tate High Hawk, and Anita Lucero; brothers, Daniel & Jacob Lucero; grandparents, Leo & Phyllis Little Moon; aunts, Santana (John) Bear Eagle, Leslie (Jay) Little Moon, Leah Little Moon, and Phyliss Lucero; uncles, Darrell Bear Eagle, Aloysius Little Moon, Dustin (Nicole) Little Moon, Michael (April) Little Moon and Jesse (Cassandra) Little Moon; grandparents, Jackie Hernandez, Elvira Mosqueda, Ramona Ashmore, Cynthia Little Moon, Mona Little Moon, Paulette Little Moon, Elizabeth Gibbons, Marvin & Tamara Little Moon, and Ronnie Little Moon; cousins, Mercy, Oyate, John, Jr., and Skyler Rondeau, Landen and Layla Little Moon, Lola Saucedo, Aryanni, Neveah, and Brayden Little Moon, Lashanti, Jalissa, Anpowin, and Olowan Little Moon, Justyce & Eva Bear Eagle, Tashaya Boltz, Mariah, Lexi, and Brandan Pourier; nephews, Wakiksuya Bene and Messiah Rondeau; and nieces, Zailee and Zamaree Rondeau, and Malani Rondeau.
