LAKE, Susan Catharine

1976 – 2024

Susan Catharine Lake, age 47, died peacefully on March 19, 2024 at Hospice Peterborough after living with advanced breast cancer for over 10 years.

An avid traveller in her youth, she completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto in 2005 and specialized in mental health during her career. A devoted mother, she settled in Millbrook in 2012 to raise her family and continued to study her life long interests of religion and spirituality, health and nutrition, meditation, and energy work.

Susan was predeceased by her father, Doug Lake. She is survived by her husband, Jeremy Coombs, sons, Max and Lewie, her mother, Cathy Lake and her brother, Mike.

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at Rolling Grape Vineyard – 260 County Road 2, Bailieboro, Ontario.
