<p>Mrs. Paula Case, resident of Cherry Valley, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, March 15, 2024, at CHI St. Vincent North in Sherwood, Arkansas at the age of 52. Paula was born in Dearborn, Michigan on May 4, 1971, the daughter of Stanley and Norma (Troutt) Barger.</p><p><br></p><p>Paula was a graduate of Goreville High School in Goreville, Illinois, and she attended John A. Logan College in Carterville, Illinois. She and Tony Case were united in marriage on May 14, 1993. Paula worked as an accounting tech at the Federal Correctional Complex in Forrest City, Arkansas for nearly 17 years, and she enjoyed fishing.</p><p><br></p><p>Mrs. Case was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Barger. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Tony Case of the home; father, Stanley Barger of Goreville, Illinois; a son, Austin Case of Cherry Valley; a brother, Darrin Barger and wife, Brandy, of Grantsburg, Illinois; a sister, Lisa Barger of Goreville, Illinois; and a host of other relatives and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>No services are planned.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements by Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home of Wynne.</p>
