Frances Nance Ashley, 85, of Hernando, MS passed over to be with her Heavenly Father, Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Frances was born July 4, 1938, in Paducah. KY to Joe and Marjorie Nance.

Frances was a lifelong educator of 40 plus years. Not only educating the minds of children but touching their hearts with her love of Jesus. Frances spent the last of her years serving and teaching her Sunday school class at Hernando Baptist Church. This is where she would build a wonderful relationship with her sisters in Christ.

Frances is survived by her two sons, Chris (Anita) Young of New Albany, MS, and Craig (Cindy) Young of Wildwood, MO; her grandchildren, Kyle Young of Nashville, TN, Kristen (Ryan) Cook of New Albany, MS, and Joseph Young of Wildwood, MO; her great-grandchildren, Nora Faye and Dawson Cook both of New Albany, MS; and her two sisters, Shirley Fuqua of Hernando, MS and her twin sister, Frieda (Don) Brandt of Albany, OR.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill H. Ashley, and her parents, Joe, and Marjorie Nance.

There will be a private family graveside service held at a later date.
