<p>Christa Ann Rogers, age 73, of Carthage, MO, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Carthage.</p><p><br></p><p>Christa was born on July 13, 1950 in Springfield, MO, to the late union of Richard and Ethel (White) Campbell. She grew up in Neosho, MO and graduated from Neosho High School in 1968. She worked for Cardinal Scales in Webb City for many years before retiring. She was an avid animal advocate and loved her cats. She enjoyed gardening and traveling in her spare time. Christa had a heart of gold and loved to make people laugh. She was an extremely hard worker. Christa was very independent and loved doing things her own way. Even though she did not have a church home, she was spiritual and loved giving to those that needed help.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Chris Stewart; and brother, Ricky Campbell.</p><p><br></p><p>Christa is survived by her sister, Nora Williams; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Stewart; two grandchildren, Katie and Dylan Stewart; two cousins, Ron and Don White; three nieces, Shannon Ryan, Tami Moore, and Sunshine Schuppel; two best friends, Lisa Cox and Katharine Reyna; and a longtime companion, John Hornbeck.</p><p><br></p><p>Cremation arrangements are under the special care of Parker Mortuary.</p><p><br></p>
