<p>Geraldine Ann (Sandy) Romano, 80, of Bayville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2024.<br></p><p><br></p><p>Sandy was born on October 29, 1943 to the late Anna and Frank Golenski in Wilkes-Barre, PA.<br></p><p>She devoted her life to her family and loved spending time with them. Sandy loved the shore and the water. She enjoyed traveling, crafts, gardening, decorating for holidays, spoiling her dogs and Chinese buffets. &nbsp;Sandy spent her free time volunteering with the Veterans in honor of her father, a WWII veteran who fought on the beaches of Normandy. &nbsp;&nbsp;She will be missed deeply by her family and friends.<br></p><p>&nbsp;<br></p><p>Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Frank Romano; her daughter Cindy Kossove and her husband Herschl; her sister, Madalene (Maddi) Dondore; and grandson, Matthew.<br></p><p><br></p><p>Relatives and friends are invited to Sandy’s visitation on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 5pm-7pm at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Memorial service to follow at 7pm. Interment private at the request of the family.<br></p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sandy at <a href="https://friendsofbcas.org/support/donate/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Donate – Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter (friendsofbcas.org)</a><br></p><p>&nbsp;</p>

Geraldine Ann (Sandy) Romano, 80, of Bayville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2024.


Sandy was born on October 29, 1943 to the late Anna and Frank Golenski in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

She devoted her life to her family and loved spending time with them. Sandy loved the shore and the water.
