<p>DOUGHERTY, Craig Ross</p><p>June 2, 1947 – March 14, 2024</p><p><br></p><p>It is with deep sympathy that the family of Craig Ross Dougherty has announced his passing away in Brockville on March 14, 2024 following a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Belleville on June 2nd, 1947, son of the late William Dougherty and Lulu (nee Snider) and husband of 44 years to the late Gwendolyn (nee Jones). Loved father of Scott (Darby) of Rednersville and the late Chris. Blessed grandfather of Michael (Jess), Joshua (Becky), Damien (Jeremy) and Jacob. Predeceased by his brother Ralph Dougherty (surviving Sue) of Picton, fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, all his family and friends in Brockville, and will be sadly missed by his partner of nine years, Judy. A long time business owner of 30 years, Craig will be greatly missed by his many customers and friends on Sheba’s Island. </p><p><br></p><p>Mr. Dougherty rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, (613-476-2450). Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11 am with visitation for 1 hour prior to the Service.
