<p>Timothy Patrick Bowden, 66, of West Springfield, passed away Tuesday March 19, 2024. He was born in Erie on March 17, 1958 a son of the late George A. and E. Lucille McDonald Bowden.</p><p><br></p><p>Following high school graduation he graduated from art school in Pittsburgh and worked at Lamar Advertising where he started painting billboards. He loved spending time outdoors including boating, camping, and hunting. He was a good friend and a genuine, honest man. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Bowden, and his sister, Patricia Hazlett.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include his son, Kyle Bowden, of Erie; one daughter, Amy Antoniono (Daniel) of Pittsburgh; one brother, George Bowden, Jr. (Napathai) of Waterford; two sisters, Eileen Cullen, of Erie and Anne Storey (William) of Roswell, GA; and many nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt &amp; Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Tuesday from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial contributions can be made to the Pennsylvania Forestry Association, paforestry.org</p>
