Margaret Ann Gnadinger

Margaret Ann "Margy" Gnadinger, 81, of Louisville, passed away on March 18th, 2024. Born in Louisville, she was the daughter of William and Mary Margaret Sondergeld.

Margy and her late husband, Joe, owned Colonel Quick Formal Wear. She was also the owner of Colonels Uniforms and Louisville Professional Apparel, as well as a member of IFA and SIFA.

In honor of her success, Margy received the Woman Business Owner of the Year Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

Margy was preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband, Joe.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Gnadinger; son, Jay Gnadinger (Susan); brothers, John B. Sondergeld (Charlene) and William Sondergeld, Jr. (Michaelene); her sister, Carolyn Smith; grandchildren, Jeremy Cassady (Autumn), Alyssa Clark (Jared) and Virginia Rose Scrogham; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Her funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 23rd, at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 1520 Hepburn Avenue, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Friday; and 9:00 am - 10:00 am on Saturday, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
