<p>Hilker, Robert (Rod) </p><p>Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Saturday March 16, 2024 in his 97th year. Dear son of the late Edward Hilker & Frances O’ Drowsky. Beloved husband of Mary Josephine Hilker (predeceased). Loving father of Michael (Joanne), Paul (Lori), Jack (Catharine), Bob (Kathy), and Marriann (Chad). Predeceased by son Barry (2013) (Dianne). Cherished Grandfather of Tyler, Katie, Jesse, Jake, Joel, Tiffany, and Jeremy. Predeceased by brothers and sister Pat, Clarence, Edward, and Mary Louise. Rod was a loving, hardworking husband and father who put in 50 years of hard labour at American Standard to support his family of 6. Rod was passionate about gardening and keeping his grass looking top notch. He also loved his sports, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs & Blue Jays. </p><p>At Rod’s request cremation will take place and a Private Family Mass will be held.</p><p>Many thanks to Paramedics & the kindness and care at CMH.</p><p>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Rod to the charity of your choice.</p>Obituary
