Anthony Siaffa Obituary

Anthony Siaffa, born March 3, 1979, in Harbel, Monrovia, Liberia, exemplified dedication, service, and familial love throughout his 45 years. Sadly, on February 21, 2024, he passed away, leaving behind a legacy of strength and integrity. Anthony, the son of Fatta Mcgill and Saah Siaffa, endured the loss of two sisters, but is survived by his older brother, Cummings Kanneh; his sister, Fatu Siaffa; and brother, John Siaffa. He is also survived by his wife of thirty years, Fatta Siaffa; five children: Asatta, Fatu, Varney, Regina, and Antoinette Siaffa;, and four cherished grandchildren.

His journey began in Liberia, where he completed his education at Yekepah High School, showing early signs of leadership and responsibility. Anthony's dedication led him to roles in agriculture and logging before he joined the American Embassy in Liberia, where he gained a reputation for meticulous care.

In 2015, Anthony's life took a turn with the Diversity Visa, allowing him, his wife, two children, and two grandchildren to immigrate to the United States in 2016. There, at the Department of Developmental Services, Anthony's diligence and compassion were recognized as he surpassed expectations in serving others.

Anthony found joy in his children's success and well-being. His love for them was unwavering, matched only by his integrity. He faced life with courage and conviction, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him. His legacy is one of purpose, compassion, and profound impact. He will be deeply missed, his memory cherished by those fortunate enough to have known him.
