<p>Larry D. Banks, 67, of Tallmadge, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 in the comfort of his home, with his family by his side.&nbsp; He was born in Evanston, IL on June 24, 1956 to the late Thomas Earl Graves and Lois Mae Banks.&nbsp; Larry was employed in the custodial department for Kent Roosevelt High School and Kent State University, where he retired from.&nbsp; He was an avid photographer and accomplished artist.&nbsp; He enjoyed all sports and playing billiards.&nbsp; Larry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.&nbsp; He will always be remembered as a wonderful and loving man.&nbsp; Larry is now reunited with many family members whom he loved dearly. </p><p>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Courtney Erin Banks. </p><p>He leaves his children, Adrianne (James) Woods, Anthony (Ava) Banks and Christopher (Shannon Walton) Banks; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. </p><p>In honoring his wishes, Larry will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 11:00AM at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240. </p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. </p><p>Services in the care of Bissler and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240. </p>

Larry D. Banks, 67, of Tallmadge, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 in the comfort of his home, with his family by his side.  He was born in Evanston, IL on June 24, 1956 to the late Thomas Earl Graves and Lois Mae Banks.  Larry was employed in the custodial department for Kent Roosevelt High School and Kent State University, where he retired from.  He was an avid photographer and accomplished artist.  He enjoyed all sports and playing billiards.  Larry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He will always be remembered as a wonderful and loving man.  Larry is now reunited with many family members whom he loved dearly.
