In Loving Memory of Damien Gonzalez, Age 6

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved son, who left this world far too soon on March 1st, 2024. Born on March 11, 2017, Damien brought immense joy, love, and light to all who knew him during his brief time.

Damien was a cherished son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson, student, and friend. He was a thriving first grader at El Camino Real Elementary School. He was known for his infectious laughter, playful spirit, and kind heart. Damien approached learning with enthusiasm and led each day with a sense of wonder and adventure; always eager to explore and share his discoveries with those around him.

His ability to make new friends and bring smiles to those around him was remarkable. He had a radiant smile that could light up any room. Despite his tender age, Damien touched the lives of many leaving a profound void.

If you interacted with Damien, you knew his love for Spider-Man, “che-chup” (Damien’s word for ketchup), and Ferrero Rocher chocolates. His favorite past time was playing video games, bouncing on the trampoline, and bonding with his brothers. Above all, Damien’s greatest dream was to play baseball.

Damien is survived by his loving parents, Elias and Zuleyka Gonzalez, along with his two brothers, Elias and Ethan Gonzalez, who adored him beyond measure. His departure is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him deeply. May his perpetual light shine down from heaven, guiding us with his presence.
