Gary J Pukatch

Gary John Pukatch of Sarasota, FL passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 at the age of 65 from malignant melanoma. Gary was born on May 29, 1958 in E. Orange, NJ and was raised by his late mother Margaret and father Joseph Pukatch in Irvington NJ. He was a graduate of Irvington High School, and earned his Bachelor Degree at Rutgers University and MBA at Syracuse University.

Gary’s occupation in corporate finance brought the family to live in cities across the country including Elmhurst, IL, Syracuse, NY, South Windsor, CT, Katy, TX, Wake Forest, NC and the last six years in Florida. He worked at United Technologies for many years and his last position was as CFO and VP at EMI Industries in Tampa FL. He retired in 2023 to Sarasota, FL.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Julia, son Luke (wife Katie), and daughter Ava; father, Joseph; brother Joseph; sisters Karen (husband Roberto) and Jan as well as nieces, extended relatives and lifelong friends.

A memorial service for Gary will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave, Roselle Park, NJ 07204. Visiting hours are 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with a service to start at 1:00 PM.
