Robert J. Rayome, Sr., age 83, died on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Baptist Health Louisville.

Born in Libby, Montana to the late Richard and Bernice Rayome, Bob was a US Marine Corps veteran and was retired as vice-president from the old Allied Sporting Goods.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Rayome; and a daughter-in-law, Leigh Ann Nold Rayome.

Bob is survived by his wife of 63 years, Brenda Sue Rudd Rayome; his sons, Rick Rayome and Joe Rayome (Lisa); his daughters, Beth Bohn (Jim) and Sherry Pooley (Rob); his grandchildren, Ricky, Sean (Chelcey),Jessica, Michael (Alison), Aaron (Jessica), Hannah (Carter), Jacob, Jolie, Kayla, Lexi, Maggie, Jimmy, Daniel, Ryan, and McKenna; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial visitation for Bob will be from 10 am – 12 Noon on Sat. March 23, 2024 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. A private burial of ashes will be held with immediate family in Calvary Cemetery.
