<p>Shirley Ann Moody passed away peacefully the morning of February 28, 2024. She was born to Nathan and Fern Lutwack in Los Angeles, CA on June 21, 1942. She was the oldest of four siblings; two sisters, Frances and Terri; and one brother Albert. </p><p><br></p><p>After high school, Shirley graduated from Bartmore Beauty College in Santa Ana, CA in 1962. She continued to work in the beauty industry for 55 years!</p><p><br></p><p>Shirley had two children, Dave Moody and Dawn (Moody) Eaton.</p><p>In 1980 Bill and Shirley moved the family to Whidbey Island, WA. She worked at the Navy Exchange Beauty Shop for 20 years. </p><p><br></p><p>Shirley had many hobbies including baking, sewing, and stained glass. She was always a hardworking, kind, and generous person.</p><p><br></p><p>Shirley was diagnosed with dementia in 2012 and due to her diagnoses had to retire in 2017. </p><p>Thank you to all our friends and the staff at Angell’s on Whidbey for their love and support the last few years. </p><p><br></p><p>A Celebration of Shirley’s life will be held where she attended church: Living Word, 490 NW Crosby Avenue, Oak Harbor, WA on Saturday, March 30th at 2pm. </p><p><br></p>
