<p>Tommy Lee Gardner, age 74, of New Caney Texas passed away surrounded by his family on March 16, 2024.</p><p><br></p><p>He is preceded in death by his parents Clifton Ray Gardner and Velma Lillian Gardner. Father-in-law Paul Lackey. Brothers-in-law Michael Adams and Joe Lackey. Tommy is survived by his wife Mona Gardner, mother-in-law Judy Lackey, daughters Misty and husband Tim Van Arsdale, Velvet and husband Dennis Vasgaard and Amber Gardner. Brothers Jerry Gardner and Carlton "Peanut" Gardner. Sisters-in-law Kathy Lackey and Billie Adams. Grandchildren Taylor, Dylan, Skylor, Austin, Gauge and Lillian. Great grandchildren Alex, Levi, Jaxon, Elijah, Mila, Olivia, Oakley, Madelyn and numerous nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Tommy Gardner was a kind and generous soul who provided for and loved his wife of 52 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was proud of being a Freemason, of helping build his community and of the successful business he nurtured for over 50 years. Tommy was courageous, loved his family and friends and it has been an honor to have him in our lives. He will be missed.</p>
