ASTLEFORD, DANIELLE PATRICIA (nee O'KEEFE)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danielle Patricia Astleford (nee O’Keefe), a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, dear granddaughter, beloved sister and best auntie. Danielle passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 17, 2024. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Harold and Teresa O'Keefe and Kenneth Steeden, her Auntie Ann, and her father-in-law, Wayne Astleford.

Born on April 2, 1986 to Thomas and Karen O'Keefe, Danielle brought immeasurable joy and happiness into their lives. She was a source of pride and endless love, her presence lighting up their home with warmth and laughter. Danielle was the dear granddaughter of Jean Steeden, with whom she shared a special bond.

Danielle's devotion to her family was unmatched. She was the loving wife of Shawn, with whom she shared countless beautiful moments and built a life filled with love and laughter. Danielle was the proud mother of two wonderful sons, Griffin and Thomas, whom she adored beyond measure. Her love for them knew no bounds, and she poured her heart and soul into nurturing and guiding them through life. Her legacy as a mother will endure through the lives of her children, who were her greatest pride and joy.

Danielle shared a deep and special bond with her siblings, James (Anita), Sonya (Daniel), Erin (Jamie), and Patrick (Rowan). Together, they created a tapestry of memories woven with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Danielle's role as an auntie was one she embraced with pure joy and enthusiasm. To Jordan, Isla, Lochlan, Elowen, and Evelyn, she was not just an aunt but a guiding light, showering them with endless love.

Danielle's caring nature extended beyond her immediate family, as she was deeply loved by her mother-in-law, Rita (Herb), brother-in-law, Tyler, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Danielle also touched the lives of many as a beloved teacher at St. Mark Catholic School. Her warmth, compassion, and nurturing spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Danielle possessed the most caring heart imaginable, always putting others' needs before her own. Her selflessness and genuine kindness were the cornerstones of her character, and she touched countless lives with her generosity and compassion.
