<p>HONAKER- Paula Carol Dye age 55 of Firestone Road passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Russell County Medical Center. Born in Buchanan County Virginia she was a daughter of Paul Jackson and the late Geneva Gilbert Jackson. She was of the Christian faith and was last employed as an administrative assistant at SWCC.</p><p> In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Patty Dye, paternal grandparents, Ira and Gladys Jackson and maternal grandparents, Graden and May Gilbert.</p><p> Survivors include her father, her husband Jeff Dye, two children, Megan (Mazin) Rayes, Fairfax, Virginia and Dennis (Becky) O’Quinn, Castlewood, Virginia, father-in-law, Earl Dye, Honaker, Virginia, grandchildren, Brooke, Chloe and Tucker O’Quinn, Oliver Rayes and one on the way, two siblings, Jason (Myra) Jackson, Vansant, Virginia and Mary Sheppard and partner Gene Whobray, Saltville, Virginia and special caregiver, Elisha Doss, Bluefield, Virginia.</p><p> A Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday March 21, 2024 at Ketron Memorial Cemetery, Lebanon, Virginia with Chloe (Midge) Honaker officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Haysi Funeral Home where an evening service will be held at 7:00 p.m.</p><p> Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral@yahoo.com.
