Kenneth Clark Obituary

CLARK, Kenneth – The Clark family is celebrating the long and happy life of Kenneth Gray Clark, who passed away peacefully on March 17th, 2024 at the age of 92. Ken is now reunited with the love of his life, Eleanor (née Baldoni), with whom he was married for 60 wonderful years. He is predeceased by his parents, Nelson and Dorothy, and siblings Harvey, Gord, and Dorothy. Ken is survived by his brother Tom (Marlene), his children Dawn (Joe) Zack, Ted Clark, Tracy (Marcel) Lessard, and Kenneth (Kara) Clark Jr. He will be greatly missed by his many grandchildren, Joe, Katie, Hailey, Madeleine, Grey, Lucas, Sophia, Lily, Keona, Hayden, and his four great-grandchildren. Ken was incredibly involved with his children and their families and always looked forward to gathering together. His calm and gentle soul made people feel at ease and his sense of humour kept everyone smiling.

Mr. Clark was a highly respected high school Auto Mechanics teacher, a career he took great pride in. He taught at Welland High School from 1963 until its closure in 1989, and finished his career at Eastdale Secondary School from 1989 until 1991. Ken considered it a privilege to guide and mentor so many students over the years and to form long lasting relationships with his fellow teachers. Ken was also an active member of St. Kevin’s Church, where he served as an usher. He always held a quiet, unwavering belief in his faith. He will be missed by so many in his community.
