It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Leopold Quesnel on Friday March 15, 2024 at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital; age 85 years. Leopold leaves to mourn his dear wife Claudette (née Godard) of Alexandria, his two loving sons Antonio of Alexandria and Michel-Léo of Ottawa and his cherished grandchildren Kathryn and Skyla. Leopold also leaves to mourn his siblings Jeannine of Montreal, QC, Suzanne of Alexandria, Richard (Lise) of Alexandria, Maurice of Lancaster and Denis of Green Valley. Leopold was pre-deceased by his parents Lawrence and Thérèse (née Sauvé) Quesnel. In keeping with Leopold's wishes, a Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday March 20th, 2024 at 10:00am at Église Sacré Coeur, 225 Main St S, Alexandria, (613)525-3609 and the family will receive visitors at the Munro and Morris Funeral Home, 114 Main St. S, Alexandria, (613)525-2772 on Wednesday March 20, 2024 from 8:30am to 9:45am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
